Fire claims the life North Salem woman

NORTH SALEM — A residence fire in North Salem Saturday claimed the life of a Danville Community High School employee.

Ginger Stultz, 42, died at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. She leaves behind three children.

The North Salem Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on South Broadway Street Saturday evening and pulled Stultz from the home.

The fire was under control in less than 30 minutes and its cause is still under investigation.

Support came in on social media as the Danville community found out about their loss.

The Danville Community School Corporation tweeted from their @DCSCWarriors account “DCSC lost a valuable member of our staff. Ginger Stultz will be greatly missed. Thoughts are with her family and children.”

“Thoughts and prayers to the family of one of our own, Ginger Stultz. Such an amazing and strong person. She will be missed,” tweeted the DCHS student council.

Stultz worked in the school’s athletic department.
