Paul E. and Alice (Southworth) Chandler of Plainfield are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Gulf Shores, Ala.

The couple was married April 28, 1962, at St. Susanna Catholic Church.

Mrs. Chandler worked 25 years at the Indianapolis International Airport. She is a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3207 Plainfield Auxiliary.

Mr. Chandler worked 44 years at GM Truck and Bus. He is a past state president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of Belleville No. 65 Masonic Lodge.

They are the parents of Paula of Indianapolis and Jacqueline of Plainfield, and the grandparents of Quinter Chandler Balough.
