Don and Jeanne Ferrell of Plainfield will soon celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married June 17, 1962, at Plainfield Christian Church by Warren Robbins.

Mr. Ferrell retired from JC Penney in 1993, after 35 years of service, and then worked 12 years for the State of Indiana.

Mrs. Ferrell retired from the Plainfield Community School Corporation in 1996 after 20 years of service.

They are members of Plainfield Christian Church.

The Ferrells are the parents of a son, Bill, and a daughter, Debbie. They also have a grandson, Ross.
