Harry and Barbara Adams are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.

The couple was married Aug. 4, 1961, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Avon.

They have two children: Greg Adams and his girlfriend Rhonda Redford of Greencastle, and Kim Lawrenz and her husband Steve of Greencastle. They are the grandparents of Brittney Kendrick of Florida, Zach Adams of Bainbridge, and Seth Lawrenz of Greencastle, and the great-grandparents of Wyatt Kendrick of Florida.

The couple will be feted at an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 6 at Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Morton.
