Robert E. and Vergie L. (Sadler) Means of Plainfield will soon mark their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Means were married June 10, 1962 in West Liberty, Ohio.

Mr. Means retired from the Chrysler Corporation in 1994 after 30 years of service.

Mrs. Means retired in 1994 from the Plainfield Community School Corporation.

They are members of Plainfield Christian Church.

They are the parents of daughters Kim (Donnie) Duncan and Lori (Richard) Purkiser. They have four grandchildren: Ryan Purkiser, Matt (Lori) Heald, Kayla (Austin) Shalfant, and Brittany (Michael) Patrick.
