— Wilbert Murrell and Margaret Ann (Reitzel) Firkins of Clayton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Amo Community Center. They were married Sept. 18, 1960, at Hazelwood Christian Church, where they are still members.
Mr. Firkins is a retired diesel mechanic from 4-Star. Mrs. Firkins works at Cox’s Plant Farm.
They are the parents of Cherril Crawford and her husband Gary, and Howard Firkins and his wife Michelle. They are the grandparents of Aaron Bradley and Holly Suzanne Crawford; and the step-grandparents of Melissa, Gavin, Kyley, D.J. and Dylan. They have also have three great-grandchildren: Colten, Hunter and Madelyn Crawford, and a granddaughter-in-law, Elee Paulette (Spurgeon) Crawford.
