Bob and Rita King of North Salem well celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2. The Kings were married in 1950 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Trenton, Ill.
Mr. King retired from the insurance business in 1985. Mrs. King has been a homemaker.
The couple winters in Naples, Fla.
They are the parents of Michael King and wife Kathleen, Gayle Miller and husband Steve, and Timothy King and wife Jenea. They are the grandparents of Damon, Alisha, Joshua, Brieanna, Danika, and Tyler, and the great-grandparents of Caleb, Noah, Dominic, Takoda, Arianna, and Jacob.
The Kings celebrated their anniversary early with a family gathering at their home over the July 4th weekend.
