Fletcher York of Danville will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 1-4 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Hendricks County Senior Center, 1201 Sycamore Lane, Danville.
He is a retired truck driver for Daum Overnight and is owner of York Auto Parts. He also enjoys playing the harmonica with various small music groups.
He is the father of Cheryl Moore of Danville, Carolyn (Steve) Carter of Plainfield, Janice (Allen) Hood of Plainfield, Francine (Chuck) Herrin of Fairbanks, Tenn., Terry (Julie) York of Danville, Emma (Brad) Hamilton of Plainfield, Gary (Kelly) York of Danville, and Bonnie (Roger) Bennett of Danville.
His grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Aletta Moore, Fletcher Moore, Melissa Murray, Robin Cadwallader, Angela Pascal, Brian Hood, Donnell Hood, Matt Cornelison, Adam Cornelison, David Hamilton, Alissa York, Ricky York, and Jennifer Henderson. He has one great-great-grandchild, Hailey Juanita Sientje Valuwenkamp.
